Microwave at 600W for about 1 minute until melted. Stir well with a whisk until smooth.
- 3
In a separate microwave-safe container, heat the heavy cream at 600W for about 20 seconds.
- 4
Add the warm cream to the chocolate mixture and stir. Add the matcha powder and mix thoroughly until well combined.
- 5
Spoon the mixture into silicone molds and smooth the surface. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours until firm.
- 6
Once set, remove from molds and dust generously with matcha powder using a fine sieve.
Tips
- ✓Silicone molds make it easy to pop out the chocolates.
- ✓If the mixture does not set well, place in the freezer briefly.
- ✓Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- ✓Hand-breaking the chocolate (rather than chopping) prevents small fragments that can burn and turn brown.
