Rich Hojicha Latte
A rich, concentrated hojicha latte made with a base syrup for intense roasted flavor. Works great both hot and iced using a simple syrup technique.

- 4g / 1 teaspoonSugar(or honey to taste)
- 20ml / 4 teaspoonsHot water
- 150ml / 5 fl ozMilk(soy milk or oat milk also work)
- 100g / 3.5 ozIce(for iced version only)

Make the base syrup: Combine 4g / 1 teaspoon hojicha powder, 4g / 1 teaspoon sugar, and 20ml / 4 teaspoons hot water. Mix thoroughly with a spoon or spatula until smooth, as it tends to clump.

For a hot latte: Pour about 150ml / 5 fl oz of warmed milk into the base syrup and mix well. Serve immediately.

For an iced latte: Pour 150ml / 5 fl oz of cold milk and about 100g / 3.5 oz of ice into the base syrup. Stir and enjoy.
