Import Matcha (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Trives Group LLC through the website importmatcha.com. We supply single-origin Japanese matcha to wholesale buyers and own-label brand partners.

2. Information we collect
Information you provide (via the contact form on /contact): name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), business location, business stage (optional), website (optional), and any details you include in the message field.
Automatically collected:
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (city, country, region), used to attribute inquiries and apply regional consent rules.
- The page you arrived from (referrer) and any URL parameters.
- Standard server log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, request timestamps.
Analytics and site behavior (only after you grant analytics consent where required by law): pages viewed, calls-to-action clicked, and form submissions, along with an anonymous device identifier and the domain portion of email addresses you submit (for example, “acme.com” from “buyer@acme.com” — never the full email).

We do not collect payment information through this site.
3. How we use your information
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up about wholesale or own-label sourcing.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.
- Understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve content and product offerings.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to target advertising on third-party platforms.
4. Who we share information with
We use the following service providers (“processors”). Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.

5. International data transfers
The processors above are based in the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms agreed with each processor. You can request a copy of the safeguards by contacting us.
6. How long we keep your information
- Contact-form submissions: as long as needed to respond and maintain the business relationship, or up to 24 months after our last interaction, whichever is longer.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, then deleted or aggregated.
- Analytics events: according to provider defaults (Mixpanel retention varies by plan; Vercel Analytics retains aggregated data).
- Consent records: retained as long as required to demonstrate consent under applicable law.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your personal data; to object to processing; and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time via the cookie preferences control shown on every page.
If you are a California resident (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share your information for those purposes.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies
- Strictly necessary (always on): the wholesale-pricing access cookie (
wholesale_auth) and the cookie that stores your consent choice. - Analytics (consent required in EU/EEA/UK/ Switzerland and California): set by Mixpanel and Vercel to measure site usage.

9. Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, store form submissions with a reputable processor, and limit access to your data to those who need it to operate the business. No system is fully secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
10. Children’s privacy
This site is intended for businesses sourcing matcha for commercial use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top, and, where required by law, by direct notice.
